What is 'The Alternative NZ'
This site was developed
for three reasons
- It was my way of ensuring that my time in NZ was well spent (not just lazing on a beach)
- Because from my experience there was very few on-line pages that provided general information for the first-time NZ traveller
- To provide an incentive and a means for all to travel to NZ. It is afterall a truely wonderful country to visit.
Amongst these alternative NZ pages you will obviously find some personal favourites but I have tried to make the remaining pages informative enough to give you a taste of NZ without removing the enjoyment you will take from discovering things for yourself. They are by nature my own and my families 'Alternative NZ'.
You will find plenty of links that I have used extensively during my stay and some that may cater for a variety of tastes and desires. Hidden amongst them are a few links to on-line businesses that I have part-used to finance this trip, such as 'Risk Free - Sports Arbitrage Betting' and 'Free-money - On-line Casinos'. Check them out, they are fun to pass some of the quieter times, and if played correctly can be very profitable.
Of the other key areas of this site are the information and accommodation pages, giving some real alternatives to staying in NZ, and catering for all types of holiday plan. I for example opted for a tenancy of a house in Ohope (Bay of Plenty). It is in a wonderful location by the ocean and at a cost that will make you smile but only you will know what will work best for you. The information pages are packed with answers to questions you didn't even know you wanted to ask, some you may know but let me assure you there will be some you would never have thought possible. They all add to the smile you will have when you leave (or decide to stay!).
For the readership of this site NZ has touched my soul and I will return sooner than I first anticipated. I hope that you can too.
